maketh oath that on Monday morning last Depts being in
smithfield going to ask the price of a Beast, a Man [..] called
Plate bid Dept not to go near a Bullock which he then pointed out
and which is sayed to be the same that killer the deced, for, that he
was vicious and very wild, and would have rural a feather when he brought
it into Smithfield in the morning to lye [..] upon which Dept told
him be should secure it or where it was turned off it might do such
mischief; at this time the Beast was tied with two ropes, but in [..]
they are secured writ on only; that a short time afterwards Dept saw
the beast wit said Plate at it Head and one Francis Parker< no role > behind it
& it was presently loosened, and the said Parker with a stick he had
pooked the [..] Beast behind, and the Beast ran on an the said
Parker following it and pushing it with the stick he had as it went [..]
that as first there were two other Beasts wit it but said Parker drove the
said forth mentioned Beast from them, and it ran on up saint John
street followed by with said Plato and Parker. Dept says that Place was going on by the side of the Beasts
white Parker< no role > was acting as before mentioned; and Dept says that
before the first mentioned Beast was seperated from the other two by the
during of Parker, he (Depts) sayed to the said Plate & Parker "if any
Accident shall happen from this Bullock it will he to your charge"
Dept says that in about half an hour or less after this, he saw
the deced taken, across smithfield to the Hospital on a Shutter.

Thomas Jackson< no role > of stoke Newington Middx Butcher maketh
oath that on Monday morning last Dept bought the bullock which has
killed the deced of Mr. Ireland in Smithfield , and Dept says that [..]
soon afterwards Mr. Peach a Butcher told Dept that the Bullock looked
shy and he would have Dept. take care of it. Dept [..] went to the
Bullock, and sayed to two Men who were by the Bullock & when Dept
took to [..] drown of Mr. Ireland [..] the he was informed
the Bullock was build and he did not know what to do with it; and they
