Esquire
one of this
Majesty's Justices of the Peace in and for the said City Who,
being upon Oath saith, that having at several different Times
missed from his Depts in the Warehouse of the said Sun, sundry
Sums of Money and having strong Suspicions that
Robert Searle< no role >
the Prisoner now under Examination, had taken them, he marked
for several days all the Money deposited in his Desk says
that this Morning about eight o'Clock he counted the Money and
found there were thirty seven Guineas in Gold four half Crown
Pieces, and twenty shillings in Silver in his said Desk says that
in about ten Minutes the Prisoner went into the Warehouse with a
Key that suspecting the Prisoner had stolen some of the Money, he
went into the Warehouse about twenty Minutes after, when the
Prisoner
was come from thence, and went immediately to the Desk
Says that he then counted again the Money so left in his Desk
as aforesaid and missed one Guinea and an half Gown Piece says
the instantly went to his Master

him of the Robbery Says that the Prisoner was apprehended and
and upon him were found a Guinea and an half Crown
and this Informant is satisfied that the said Guinea and half

were Part of the Money left in his Depts, and he believes that the Prisoner
feloniously took the same therefrom.
