Who being on Oath severally say, And First the

for himself saith, that about Five
O'Clock, on Saturday Evening last, the Prisoner now
under Examination,

who had come into the Shop of the said Brother a
little before, was proceeding out the shop, when
Informant perceived something dragging From
under the Petticoats of the said
MaryAnn Mr. Dear
Says, he suffered the Prisoner to go out of the
Shop, and Followed herShe turned into a
Publick House, a few doors From his Brother's
shop, and Informant went after her, and seeing
some part of the Muslin now Produced exposed
under her Arm, and the other part concealed under
the Cloak of the Priconer, he put the Cloak aside,
and took the said Muslin form herInformant
charged the Priconer with stealing the Muslin, and
she said, the Child in her Arms had taken it out of
the ShopInformant brought the Prisoner back
into his brother's Shop, and charged her in Custody of
Mr. Swan Borough says that the Muslin now
produced is the property of his Brother, and of the
Value of Five PoundsAnd the said William
Swan Borough
for himself saith, that he heard the
Prisoner when charged in Custody, beg for Mercy
of Mr. Capper
