the Parish of Saint Giles without Cripplegate
in the City of London and to the
Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
Parish of Saint Bartholomew by the Exchange
in the said City of London
and to every of them.

WHEREAS Complaint hath been made unto Us, two
of his Majesty< no role > 's Justices of the Peace for the City of
London and Liberties thereof, one being of the Quorum, by
the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said
Parish of Saint Giles without Cripplegate
London, That Catherine Jones< no role > a Singlewoman
is
lately come to reside in their said Parish, not having obtained
any legal Settlement there, and is likely to become charge-
able thereto, unless timely prevented, which Complaint We
the said Justices, upon due Proof made thereof as well upon
the Oath of the said Catherine as otherwise
adjudge to be true; and we do also adjudge the last legal
Settlement of the said Catherine
to be in the said Parish of Saint Bartholomew by the
Exchange in the said City of London
and that thither to she ought by Law to be sent.

These are therefore in His Majesty's Name to will and re-
quire you the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor
of the said Parish of Saint Giles without Cripplegate
London, forthwith to remove and convey the said Catherine
from and out of your said Parish, unto the said Parish of
Saint Bartholomew by the Exchange
And her deliver unto the Church-Wardens and Overseers
of the Poor there, or to some or one of them, together with
this our Order, who is and are hereby required to receive
and provide for her according to Law. Given under our
Hands and Seals, this 21st Day of October One Thousand
Seven Hundred and Eighty.
