The Humble Petition and Appeal of the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the parish
of Saint Bartholomew by the Exchange
in the said
City.
Sheweth
That by an Order or Pass Warrant bearing date
the 21st. day of October now last past under the hands and seals
of the Right Honourable Brackley Kennett
Lord Mayor< no role >
of
the City of London
and
Evan Pugh< no role >
Esquire
two of his Majesties
Justices of the Peace
in and for the said City (One whereof
being of the Quorum) Whereby
Catherine Jones< no role >
a singlewoman
was removed from the Parish of St. Giles without Cripplegate
London to the said Parish of St Bartholomew
by the Exchange
in
the said City as the place of her last legal Settlement
That Your Petitioners apprehending themselves
aggrieved by the said Order or Pass Warrant of the said two
Justices humbly appeal against the same
And therefore pray that you will be pleased to
Order the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the Parish of St. Giles without Cripplegate

day this present Session to hear and abide the
Judgement and Determination of this Court
touching the Premises And that Your Petitioners
may have such relief therein as to your Worships
shall seem meet
