MIDDLESEX COMMITMENTS.

Detained on oath of Elizabeth Seager< no role > and another, for feloniously receiving,
in the county of Middlesex , a pair of sheets, a shirt, 2 stocks, Etc. the
property of John Seager< no role > , knowing them to be stolen. Dated Dec. 21,
1780.

Essex

6George Lewis< no role > , in Tothillfields-bridewell , committed by J. Durden, Esq ;
on oath of Margaret Netham< no role > , on suspicion of robbing her on the
highway, in the county of Essex , of a silver dollar and a silk cloak.
Dated Dec. 21, 1780.

Detained on oath of Margaret Neetham< no role > , Mary White< no role > , & Susannah Embleton< no role > ,
for feloniously assaulting them on the highway in the county of Essex ,
putting them in fear, and taking from their persons, viz. from the said
Margaret Neesham< no role > a cloak and a dollar, from the said Mary White< no role > one
shilling, and from the said Susannah Embleton< no role > a cloak and seven-pence
in money. Dated Dec. 22, 1780.

7 James Coffee< no role > , in Tothillfields-bridewell , committed by S. Wright, Esq;
on oath of John Frodsham< no role > , on suspicion of feloniously receiving a
quantity of wearing apparel and linen, the property unknown. Dated
Dec. 21, 1780.

Detained on oath of Elizabeth Elcost< no role > and others, for feloniously receiving
3 basons, a pint mug, a coffee-pot, Etc. the property of George Elcost< no role > ,
knowing the same to be stolen. Dated Dec. 23, 1780.

Detained on oath of Elizabeth Simpson< no role > and others, for feloniously re-
ceiving 2 curtains, 2 children's frocks, a table-cloth, Etc. the property
of John Simpson< no role > This name instance is in a workspace. , knowing the same to be stolen. Dated Dec. 23,
1780.

8 Richard Philimore< no role > , in Tothillfields-bridewell , committed by W. Adding-
ton, Esq; on oath of John Clark< no role > , on suspicion; and detained for stealing
a peacock< no role > and a pea-hen, the property of Thomas Bromley< no role > . Dated
Dec. 22, 1780, and Jan. 1, 178.

9 James Smith< no role > , in Tothillfields-bridewell , committed by J. Durden, Esq ;
on oath of Thomas Moore< no role > , for putting him in fear and danger of his
life in a certain field near the highway, and taking from his person
two half crowns Dated Dec. 23, 1780.

Detained on oath of Thomas Moore< no role > and others, for feloniously assaulting
him in an open field adjoining to the highway, putting him in fear, and
feloniously taking from his person 2 half crowns. Dated Dec. 26, 1780.

on oath of Ann Matthews< no role > , on suspicion of robbing her of a bundle of
linen in St. James's Park . Dated Dec. 28, 1780.

Detained on oath of Ann Matthews< no role > and others, for stealing a table-cloth,
a shirt, a pair of stockings, Etc. her property. Dated Dec. 30, 1780.
