ber of one hundred and upwards, armed with bludgeons and other
unlawful weapons on the 7th of June instant, at the house of the right
hon William earl< no role > of Mansfield , in the parish of St. George Blooms-
bury, pulling down, burning and destroying the said dwelling-house,
and feloniously taking and carrying away part of the furniture in said
dwelling-house. Dated June 16, 1780.

Penleaze, Esqrs . on information of Robert Remmington< no role > , an evidence,
for being concered with John Thompson< no role > , James Burn< no role > , Hannah-Dyall< no role >
and others, in felony, Dated June 16, 1780.

Detained on oath of Joseph Lynch< no role > and obert Remmington< no role > , on a strong
suspicion of stealing a parcel of buttons, the property of John Lynch< no role > , at
the time the mob were destroying his house. Dated June 20, 1780.

Esqrs . on oath of Thomas Boroughs, for feloniously aiding and assisting
a certain riotous mob, and encouraging the said mob, and saying that
one Pallister, before whose house in Golden-lane the said mob were as-
sembled, was a papift, and that his house ought to be destroyed. Dated

and feloniously assembling with diverse other persons, to the disturbance
of the public peace, on Tuesday the 6th inst. in Great Queen-street , in
the parish of St. Giles in the Fields , and with force beginning to de-
molish and pull down a certain dwelling-house there situate, beloging
