Esq ; Lord-Mayor, on oath of Jane Jenkins< no role > , for stealing a caravan
trunk containing one cap, a tin saucepan, a tin coffee-pot, Etc.
value 1 guinea, the property of Samuel Jenkins< no role > . Dated May 20, 1780.

2 John Beaumont< no role > (a debtor) detained by Mr. Alderman Wooldrige, charged
on oath of Thomas Kendray< no role > , with being the person who escaped from
the custody of the keeper of the gaol of Shepstow Mallett< no role > on the 12th
January last, as appears by an advertisement in the public paper, dated
May 26, 1780.

The abovesaid Joseph Larcher< no role > and John Beaumont< no role > were, on June 6, 1780, forcibly
taken out of, and delivered from the gaol of Newgate , by a most tumultuous and
riotous concourse of persons, who set fire to and destroyed great part of the said gaol.

3 Thomas Roberts< no role > , in Woodstreet -compter, committed by Mr. Alderman
Wooldrigde, standing indicted at the sessions of oyer and terminer for the
city of London , on the 10th of May last, for wilfully and corruptly
suborning Thomas Collins< no role > , otherwise Jones, to commit wilful and cor-
rupt perjury; to which indictment he hath not appeared or pleaded.
Dated May 19, 1780.

4 William Smith< no role > , in Woodstreet -compter, committed by Mr. Alderman
Wilkes, on oath of Eleanor Browne< no role > , for stealing 4 pewter dishes the
property of George Rawson< no role > . Dated June 9, 1780.

5 Evan Lloyd< no role > , in Woodstreet -compter, committed by the Right Hon< no role > .
Thomas Harley< no role > , Esq ; on oath of William Gilley< no role > , for stealing a printed
book called and Hebrew Grammar. Dated June 13, 1780.

6 James Gall< no role > , in Woodstreet -compter, committed by Mr. Alderman
Alsop, on oath of Cornelius Dempsey< no role > , to the terror of the people, at the
house of Cornelius Murphy< no role > in Golden Lane , Middlesex , and there be-
ing present at, and feloniously and traiterously assisting in unlawfully
demolishing the said house, against the statute. Dated June 13, 1780.

Thomas Harley< no role > , Esq ; on oath of Michael Cullen< no role > and another, for
assembling himself with a great number of persons at present unknown,
to the terror of the people, at the house of the said Michael Cullen< no role > ,
situate in Whitecross-street , Middlesex , and there being present, and
feloniously and traiterously assisting in unlawfully destroying the said
house. Dated June 13, 1780.

Murphy,

known, to the terror of the people, at the house of the said Cornelius,
situate in Golden Lane , Middlesex ; and there being present at, and
feloniously and traiterously assisting in unlawfully demolishing the said
house. Dated June 13, 1780.
