Settlement of Sophia a Mulatto Girl of the Age of about
Sixteen Years a
[..] Vagabond apprehended in the said City,
and brought before me one of His Majesty's Justices
of the Peace for the said City. Taken this 29th
Day of June 177 9

Who on h is Oath saith, that the said Sophia lived as a
hired yearly Servant with Charles Dean< no role > in the Parish
of Chelsea in the County of Middlesex Gentleman and
continued in his Service in the said Parish two Years
and upwards
And hath not since obtained any other subsequent
Settlement to this Examinant's Knowledge or Belief.
