WHEREAS, Sophia Mulatto Girl of the Age of
about Sixteen years was
apprehended in the Parish of St Olave Silver Street London
as a [..] Vagabond, wandering abroad, lodging in the open Air,
and not giving a good Account of h erself
and upon Examination of [..] Edward Edwards< no role >
taken before me upon Oath (which Examination is hereunto annexed)
doth appear that the last legal Settlement of the said Sophia
is in the said Parish of Chelsea in the said
County of Middlesex .

These are therefore to require You the said Richard Lamburd< no role >
to convey the said Sophia
to the Parish of Saint Clement Danes in the
County of Middlesex
that being the first Parish in the next Precinct through which she
ought to pass, in the direct Way to the said Parish
ofto which she is to be sent, and
to deliver he to the Constable or other Officer, of such first
Parish in such next Precinct, together with this Pass and Duplicate of
the Examination of the said Richard Richards< no role >
taking his Receipt for the same. And the said Sophia
to be thence conveyed
on in like Manner to the said Parish of Chelsea
there to be delivered to some Church-Warden, Chapel-Warden, or
Overseer of the Poor , to be provided for according to law. And you
the said Church-Wardens, Chapel-Wardens, and Overseers of the Poor,
and hereby required to receive the said Sophia
and provide for h er
