Gentleman
maketh Oath and saith that on the eleventh
and twenty first Days of this Instant April he this
Deponent went to the now Corn Market in Mark
Lane within the City of London
in order to enquire
into the price of middling British white Peace and that
the Common
Market Price of middling British
White Pease sold in the said Market on all the
abovementioned Days was from thirty three Shillings
to thirty four Shillings the Quarter And this
Deponent further saith that on all the Days
abovementioned he was informed and he very
believes the same to be true that for several Weeks
then last past the Common
Market Price of middling
British White Pease sold in the said Market had
been and that the same now continues to be from
thirty three Shillings to thirty four shillings the
Quarter And further saith that he is seized of
a Freehold Estate of the clear Yearly Value of
twenty Pounds and upwards over and above all
Charges and Reprizes and that he is skilful in
the price of White Pease and other Corn and that
he is a Housekeeper and lives in the County of
Middlesex
And that he is not a Corn Chandler
Mealman
Factor or a Merchant concerned in the
Information of Corn or any way interested in any
Pease to be imported
