to sd. Silvanus Hall< no role > on his Oath saith that on the 1st. of
April inst. abt. half an Hour after 11 in the Forenoon
Dept. being in sd. Workshop he saw the deced runing
along the sd. Workshop with both his hands on his
right Thigh crying out, Oh dear, Oh dear, what shall
I Do, immediately on which Dept. turned himself
round and asked the deced what was the matter,
to which the deced answered, Oh Lord, Mr. Alexander,
Tom, meaning sd. Thomas Mann< no role > , had struck a, or
the Chissel into the deced is Thigh, that the deced presently
after sat own on a Chest in sd. Thops and Dept. instantly
took the deced into his Arms he bleeding very much
at his [..] right Thigh and presently after fainting away
that a Surgeon was presently sent for at soon after
came and finding the deced is would to be very [..] desired the [..]
of anor. Surgeon on whose [..] which [..]
Ingram was [..] and maintaining they advised
that the deced shod. be
they agreed that it was advise able
that the deced shod. be sent to [..] an Hospital and
accordingly the deced was soon after [..] to Saint
Bartholomew's Hospital (where he died last Monday as
Dept. was informed and believes and Dept. saw him dead
there this day, says he saw the dead. abt. 4 o'Clock in the
afternoon on sd. 1st April at sd. Hospital when the deced
oninformedpleashing him how it happened, said that
he the deedsaidcalled out to me Trayer then working in
the shop, that he the deed was been lesquing and making
games of me William Warby< no role > then in sd. Shop, & sd. Trayer
not answering the deced, sd. Thomas Munn< no role > said he
know who the deced was taking off, which the deced
answered Munn, that if he did not hold his tongue the
deced wod. Kick his arse, on which Munn said that it
the deced struck him, he Munn wod. strike the deced.
again, and the deed told Dept. that he the deced lifted up
his fact agt. Munn and should Munn away from hand
and them Munn there the Chissell at the deced and
wounded the deced on his High, That on Dept. desiringDept.
the deced to be very cautions in respect to what he that deced
said at Munn's life might be affected by it, the decedsaid
declared that what he the deced had said to Dept. was in
very respect and that if he was before Gad he would
take Oath thereof, and that deced said that if he [..] did
he [..] for gave and ensured the sd. Munn.
