Maketh Oath and Saith that he was present and did see William
Haines< no role > in the Annexed General Release Named duly Sign Seal and
as his Act and Deed Deliver the same and that the mark [mark] Name
or Characters thereunto set and Subscribed as and for the Mark [mark] Name
or Characters of the said William Haines as the Party duly Executing
the same as also the Name Robert Carter set and Subscribed thereto
as the Witness duly Attesting the due Execution thereof is and are
of the several and Respective Proper signing and Hand Writing of
the said William Haines and this Deponent

Sworn in Session at the Guildhall of the said
City of London this 2nd. day of December 1776 }
