The Humble Petition and Appeal of the Church Wardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Saint Stephen in
Walbrook is the City of London
Sheweth
That by virtue of a Pass, Warrant or Order under the hands
and Seals of two of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the
said City of London (one whereof is of the Quorum) bearing date
the Twenty Sixth Day of July last past

was removed from the Parish of Saint Helen near
Bishopgate
in the said City of London to the said Parish of
Saint Stephen in Walbrook
London as the Last legal Place
of his Settlement By which Your Petitioners Conceive themselves
aggrieved and Appeal to this Court Against the said Pass order
Your Petitioners therefore Pray Your
Worships will be Pleased to hear and
Determine the Matters touching this Appeal
and given them such relief in the Premisses
as to Your Worships shall seem Just
and meet
