At the General Quarter Session of the Peace of our Lord the King
holden for the City of London at the Guildhall within the said
City on Monday the Sixteenth day of October in the Fifteenth Year
of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the third King of Great
Britain Etc.

Whereas The Church Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish
of Saint John the Evangelist in the City of London have exhibited
there petition and Appeal to this Court setting forth that byan
Order or adjudication under the hands and Seals of two of the
Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the said City and Liberties
thereof (one being of the Quorum) bearing Date the twenty seventh
day of September last Thomas Bloodworth< no role > This name instance is in set 3803. Ann< no role > This name instance is in set 3804. his Wife and
their four Children namely Elizabeth< no role > aged seven Years Ann< no role > aged
Six Years Hannah< no role > aged four Years and Thomas< no role > This name instance is in set 3803. aged two Years
were near over and conveyed from the Parish of Saint Michael in
Cornhill in the said City to the said Parish of Saint John the Evangelist
as the place of their legal settlement and that the petitioners
conceiving themselves aggrived by the said Order or adjudication
humbly appealed therefrom Wherefore at the request of the said
Petitioners It is Ordered that the benefit of the said Appeal be saved
unto them and that the hearing and determination thereof be and
the same is hereby adjourned unto the next General Session of the
Peace to be holden for the said City at the Guildhall aforesaid on
Monday the fourth day of December next at Eight of the Clock
in the Morning and that due notice hereof be given unto the
Church Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of
Saint Michael in Cornhill
