Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor
of theParish ofLiberty of Saffron hill in
the County of Middlesex

WHERE AS Complaint hath been made unto Us, two
of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the City of
London and Liberties thereof,one being of the Quorum, by
the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said
Parish of Saint Giles Cripplegate without in the city of
London, That Mary Tate< no role > widow of John Tate< no role > is
lately come to reside in their said Parish, not having obtain'd
any legal Settlement there, andislikely to become charge-
able thereto, unless timely prevented, which Complaint We
the said Justices, upon due Proof made thereof, as well upon
the Oath ofthe said Mary Tateas otherwise, do
adjudge to be true; and we do also adjudge the last legal
Settlement of the saidMary Tate
to be in the saidParish of [..] Liberty of Saffron hill in the
County of Middlesex
and that hithertosheought by Law to be sent.

These are therefore in His Majesty's Name to will and re-
quire you the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the said Parish ofSaint Giles Cripplegate without in the City of
London, forthwith to remove and convey the saidMary Tate
from and out of your said Parish, unto the saidParishLibertyof
Said Saffron hill in the County of Middlesex
Andherdeliver unto the Church-Wardens and Overseers
of the Poor there, or to some or one of them, together with this
our Order who is and are hereby required to receive a pro-
vide forheraccording to Law. Given under our Hands
and Seals, this28 Day of January One Thousand
Seven Hundred and Seventy five
