The King on the prosecution of Matthew Kenny< no role > and Francis Kenny< no role >
against
Amos Chaplin< no role >

Amos Chaplin< no role > the said Defendant maketh Oath that this Indictment was
prefered against him this Deponent for a perjury opposed to be committed by
this Deponent man affidavit made by this Deponent in his Majesty's Court of
King's Benet that the said Matthew Kenny< no role > was or debted to this Deponent in
the sum of ten pounds and upwards for half a Year's Rent due to this Deponent from
the said Matthew Kenny< no role > at Lady Day one thousand seven hundred and seventy
two and this Deponent saith that the said Matthew Kenny< no role > was arrested in an action
brought against him by this Deponent and hold to Bail for the sum of ten Pound
mentioned in the said affidavit and this Deponent caused a Declaration to be
delivered to the said prosecution Mathew Kenny's attorney for the use and occupation
of a Message in Chichester Renk in the Parish of Saint Dunstan in the West in
the County of Middlesex and the said Matthew Kenny having to leaded to the said
Declaration and issue being joined therein this Deponent caused the Record to be
made up and Notice of Trial to be given for the setting after last Michaelmas Term
when the said Cause was tried and a Berdict found for this Deponent for the sum of
twelve pounds for half a Year's Rent due to this Deponent from the said Matthew
Kenny at Lady Day one thousand seven hundred and seventy two as
appears to this Deponent from the Entry of the said Verdict endorsed
by the proper office upon the Pannel of the Jurors anniced to the said
Record and this Deponent further saith that although he hath obtained
the aforesaid verdict yet that Judgment cannot by the Course of the
said Court of Kings Bench be entered up thereon as this Deponent is
informed and believes untill after the first four Days in the next [..]
Term and this Deponent further saith He hath given his attorney
