Middlesex to wit

The Information of John Trimbey< no role > taken
before me this 30th. day of December 1771

Who being upon Oath says that he is a Watchman facing the End
of Castle Street Fleet Market , that on the Wight that Mr. Brewer's
house was broke open he saw four Men go past him into Goose
Alley where they stopped and talked together, that he listened to
their Discourse but could not hear what they said, that he
went round in order to meet then and cried his hour upon which
they went away, that at the place where the said four persons
were talking togetherhe founda Memorandum Book some Papers
and a Counter were found which Mr. Brewer said were stolen out
of his house, that he afterwards went with Mr. Brewer Robert
Walker
< no role > and Peter Ashmore< no role > in Pursuit of the Offenders, that at
the Dark house in Dark house Lane they found three persons now
present who call themselves Francis Phenix< no role > Francis Talbott< no role >
and Edward Flannagan< no role > and also one Owen otherwise Jones
and further says that the said Francis Talbott< no role > and Edward
Flannagan are two of the persons whom he saw talking
together in Goose Alley as aforesaid John Trimbee
