Middlesex to wit

The Information of Robert Walker< no role > taken before
me this 30th. day of December 1771

Who being upon Oath says that he is a Watchman in Core Lane Smithfield
that on the Morning that Mr. Braser's house was broke open which he believes
was about 2 o'Clock he saw a person now present who calls himself
Francis Talbot< no role > who asked this Informant to drink with him which he did
at the Sussex Coffee house , that he afterwards discovered that the
house of Mr. Brower was broke open that he alarmed the family
and went with the said Mr. Brewer and Mr. Ashmore the Beadle and
John Trimby< no role > a Watchman in Pursuit of the Offenders to the
Night houses, that at the Dark house in Dark house Lane they
found the said Francis Talbott< no role > and two other persons now present
who call themselves Edward Flannagan< no role > and Francis Phenix< no role > and
also one Owen otherwise Jones, that one Chizel some Matches Tinder
and Candle were found upon the said persons and that another
Chirel was afterwards found in the Watch house where the said
persons were put into for safe Custody
