Whereas Mr. Needham did some
time ago assault and beat Amelia < no role > the
Wife of John Blair< no role > , for which he was and now
stands indicted, Now we the said John and
Amelia Blair< no role > do hereby acknowledge to
have received two Guineas from the said
Mr. Needham, in full for our Costs and
Damages [..] occasioned by such Assault,
and do hereby acquit and release him from
all our Claims and Demands for & in respect
of the same as Witness our Hands the Day
& year above written
