that if he did any thing amiss he was to answer
for it Says shop desired him to put her into a
Workhouse to which he answered that to satisfied
Dept. he wod. but never did. Says that abt. 6 or 8
weeks ago Dept. heard Williamson's Daughter by
hera former Wife cry out pray Father, dear Father
for Christ's sate do not do it, Dept. apprehending
Williamson Was going to kill the deced, and Dept.
thinks the deced cryed out at the same time, on wch
Dept. went to the foot of the Stairs & cryed out Mr.
William much at are you abt, are you murdering
the woman, on which he came down part of the Stairs
withtrembling & saying it was his Child that cryed
out to such Depts. she know it was his Child that cryed such
but she feard he was doing same thing to his Wife:
that the much day [..] her Apprentice tohisshe
Williamson his Daughter what Williamson had been
doing to make his Daughter cry out to the day before

That on Monday last abt. 8 in the Evening Dept
heard a noise in the deced's Room as if the Furniture
in the Room was pulling abt, soon after wch Depts.
heard Williamson, Mr. Cole, Mrs. Cole, the Daughter
and two Boy's of Williamson, [..] went out of the Room
having locked it after them and went out all
together on wch Dept. immediatly went up stairs
and found the door locked: that Dept. then called out
sevl. times to the deced but she made no Answer on
wch Dept. went into her new Apartment again & told
her Apprentice that she believed the deced was dead.

That the next day between 9 & 10 in the Morning
Williamson's Daughter came to Dept. told Dept. that
Williamson wod. be extremely obliged to her if Dept.
wod. come and look at his Wife for that she was dead
to wch Dept. that she wod. sometime that day [..] come
up; that thereupon Dept. sent her Apprentice to one Mrs.
Ellison in the Neighbourhood to acquaint her that the
deced was dead, who Dept. believes communicated the
same to the Neighbourhood; that thereupon Dept. with
sevl. of the Neighbours to the Number of 8 or 10 went
up into the Room Williamson being there & said the
deced laid out upon the Bedstead covered only with a
sheet: says she appearently then her bones seeming
to be ready to come through her Skin, & appeared to Dept.
as it she has died for want of common Nuisance.
