and first this Examinant Robert Brown< no role >
for himself saith that he well knows and has been
Acquainted with Edward Dunstan< no role >
of Tring
in the County of Hertford
Barber
for upwards of Ten
Years and this Examinant further Saith that sometime about the latter end of the Month of March to
said Edward Dunstan< no role >
came to this Examinant and told him that he had a Silver Tankard to Sell and
he this Examinant was an old Acquaintance desired to know if he would Buy it and thsi Examin [..]
Saith that he then told the said Edward Dunstan that he did not deal in such sorts of things or [..]
that Effect but further Added that he had a Neighbour that was a Broker who he this Examinant

And recommended the said Edward
to the said John Mc. Kelvie as a particular Friend and an Acquaintance of this Examinant an [..]
also told the said John Mc. Kelvie that he had a Trankard to Sell and desired to know if he would buy
it And this Examinant further saith that the said John Mc. Kelvie did Agree to buy the Tankard
of him the said Edward Dunstan And the said Edward Dunstan then said that he would felch
the said Tankard and this Examinant further saith that in two Days afterwards the said Edward
Dunstan Accompanied with his son and another Man came to the Sign of the white Horse

Lane aforesaid with the said Tankard and this Examinant saith that he and the said Edward
Dunstan went over to the said John Mr. Kelvies house with the said Tankard which was broke [..]
