Terence Shortney< no role > of Cross Street Hatton Garden Yeoman Maketh
Oath that Ann Hope< no role > is a very material Witness for the Defendant in the above
Casue and without whose Testimony the said Defendant cannot safely
proceed to Tryal And this Deponent further Saith that he has made all the Diligent
Search after her that was Possible in Endeavouring to find her out Budas yet
to no purpose And this Deponent further Saith he Yesterday made a further
Enquiry in the Parish of Saint Mary le Bone and was there Informed by Mr.
Truslay with whom the said Ann Hope< no role > lately lived as a Servant that she
did not know where to find the said Ann Hope< no role > but this Deponent hopes that
he shall be able to produce the said Ann Hope< no role > as a Witness for the said Defendt.
at the next Sessions which this Deponent believes he shall be able to do by
Enquiry amongst her Acquaintance in the mean time

Sworn in Court at Justice Hall in the Old Bailey 13 Janry.
