The Voluntary Confession of Robert
Lombard

this Sixth day of July 1751 before
me one of his Majestys Justices of
the Peace for the said County

This Examinant Voluntarily Sayeth That in
the months of May and June last past he did
belong to the Brigg Nancy, George Stone< no role > Master
And in the said months of May and June This
Examinant with John Miller< no role > , James Baker< no role >
Walter Hazard< no role > , Charles Batt< no role > , Charles Christopher
Leissner,
< no role > Captain John Mannowry< no role > , and Thomas
Bradford
< no role > did at severall times take out of the
said Brigg Nancy about Thirty Fathom of Stream
Cable, some spare Cordage, some old iron, which
was sold [..] by this Examinant, John Miller< no role > ,
James Baker< no role > , Walter Hazard< no role > , Charles Batt< no role > , Charles
Christopher Leissner, and Thomas Bradford< no role >
And that Captain John Mannowry< no role > took or ordered
to be taken out of the said Brigg Nancy One
Hedge Anchor and three small water Cask
which said Cable, spare Cordage, old Iron, Anchor
and water Cask this Examinant then and now
Knows to be the Property of George Heyliger< no role >
of the Parish of St. John Huberts in the City of
London Merchant , And that they were Stolen
