12 May. 1749 :

We the Grand Inquest for the City of London do most
humbly & unanimously present, that Trevor
of the Parish of St. Ethelburga in the Ward of Bishopgate
within London Vintner now & for the space of two months
last past has kept an ill govern'd & disorderly her
call'd or known by the name of the three Turns Tavern
suitcase in the said Parish, within Bishopgate and
for the sake of wicked Lucre & Gain he during the said
time aforesaid has kept a reputed Common Casedy
house, and that the said house ought to be suppressed
is appearing to us that the said Trevors further
continuance to keep the same must greatly tend to
the Corruption of the morals of Youth, to the great
endangerment of the Public safety, & to the especial
Terror & nusance of all his Majestys Leige subjects
inhabiting thereabouts.

And we do likewise present the said house for
being a harbour for Common wheres.
