William Snead< no role > of the parish of St. George Bloomsbury in the
County of Middlesex Perukemaker one of the Defts: in this Cause maketh
Oath that John Ware< no role > of West Smithfield London Grocer is a material Witness for
this Deponent on his defence in this Cause Nor Can this Deponent
without the Testimony of the said John Ware< no role > safely take his Tryal on
the Indictment found against him in this Cause (as this Dept. is informed
and verily beleives) And this Dept. Saith the said John Ware< no role > did on Friday
last set out on [..] Journey to Oxford on very material business (as the
wife of the Said John Ware< no role > this Morning informed this Dept. and which
this Dept. verily beleives to be true) from which Journey the said John
Ware is expected by his family to return in about ten days and not
sooner.
