before hear the said Shipwould arrive at the
Port of London being oftenobliged to wait for a
Convey when they are ready to Sail And this Depont. lastly Saith
That the said John Day< no role > is the most material Witness for this Depont.
with respect to the Defence of the said Indictment and without whose
Testimony this Depont. cannot Safely proceed to the Tryall of the
aforesaid Indictment as this Depont. is advised & verily believes
William Cuthbert< no role > of Sheer Lane London Gentleman the other
Depont. for himself Saith That he did on the fifteenth day of this
Instant January leave a true Copy of the written Notice hereunto
annexed with Mrs. Knott the said Prosecutors wifein his presence
at the said Knotts Levise situate in Rose Mary Lane Ragg Fair
