Honourable Court

John Adams< no role > the Prosecuter Humbly Complaineth that He the aforesaid John Burleigh
stands Indicted as of the Sessions held is and for the Burrough of Southwarke on the
23th. day of March 1739 and has not Get Approved or pleaded as notwithstanding
the [..] Process of this Honurable Court being Issued out in the Accustomed manner
agt. the said Burleigh and Several others who may be very Easyly taken but by the
Willfull neglect of the Officers of this Court He his said Burleigh is not get taken
on the said Process and this Prosecutor Particularly Complains agt. Charles Nowles< no role >
an Officer of this Court for that he the said Nowles did See the said John Burleigh
Standing in the Open Street near the Passaya leading down to the Marshall sea
Prison on the 30th. day of June Instant and being Charged with the said Burleigh
did Absolutely refused to Exceeds the Process on him but instead of Executies
his Affair abused adn Threatned The Person for Chargeing him wiht the
said Burleigh

And the Prosecuter Humbly refer to this Honourable Court whether the
like Peacked hath not been a Comon Greiveance an Oppression of
the Subjects in Stopping Proceedings Debarring People from seek [..]
after Justice an in Contempt of this Honoble Court and Whether the
said Charles Newles shall not be Punished is such manner as by
the Wisdom of this Court is Just
