Mayor of the City of London and the Raw of his Honrble
Brothron the Justices of Goal Delivery of Newgate now in
their General Sessions of Goal Delivery of Newgate for
the City of London at Justice hall Assembled

The Humble Petition of James Chetwood< no role >
a Prisoner in his Majesties Goal of Newgate.

Sheweth


The Your Petitoner was on the fifteenth day of December last
Committed for Stealing a Parcell of Brass Patterns of Branches
the Property of William Alexander< no role >

That Your Petitoner hath been Confined in Goal over Since
for the said Offence and hath lately been Informed an believes
that the said Mr: Alexander the Prosecutor intends not to try Your
Petitioner at this Sessions but to have Your Petitioner detained
untill the next Sessions of Goal Delivery to be hold for the said
City of London for the said Offence

Your Petitioner therefore humbly Prays that
(not being Accused with any Other Fact) he may
at this Present Sessions of Goal Delivery of
Newgate be Fryed bailed or Discharged

And Your Petitioner Shall ever Pray
