Indictmt That, Prisoner of her the 24th. Day of June 1731 to witt on the 30th day of
August In the 7th. yr of his prsent Majestye weth force & Arms at London frwitt in the
Parish of St. Bottolph Bpsgate in ye. Ward of Bpsgate £150 Wet. of lead of the Value of 25d
to a Certain building then & there fixed Called Bpsgate and £150 Wet. of Lead of the Value of 25d
to an Empty house of the Mayor & Comonalty & Citizens of the City of London then & there being
fixed feloniously [..] steal take & hear away agts. the form of the Statute in ye.Case made &
Provided and agts the Peace ye

Cast The Prisoner Edward Leaver< no role > being abt. the time Laid In the Indictment at Work,
as a Laboures in the Rebuilding of Bpsgate Etc at Sevrall times Stole Great Quantities of Lead
and the Better to Carrythat TradeSuch Robery on He Persuaded a Young Fellers one John Heath< no role > Who then
they first Stole Lead from Pramps off & belonging to the said gate to the Weight of be Pounds wch.
theythe Prisoner Sold to one Thomas Tollas< no role > a Braiser in Old Ledlam for five Shillings being after
the Rate of one Penny a Pounds the Prisoner gave Heath for his Share as More then One shilling
They afterwards Stole Sevrall other Parcells of Lead belonging to the said Gate & House adjoyningto the
Weight of £300in the Whole 300witswch. they also Sold to the said Toller, at halfe at Length Heath being
Detected He Informed agt. the Prisoner Who has been an Old Practitioner in this Way
