Londn. Gentl . Robert Bagster< no role > of the Parish of St. Clement
Danes in the County of Middx . Gentl . & Matthew Hassall< no role > of the
parish of St. Mary Aldermary aforesaid Cordwainer Severally
make Oath And first the said Robert Hassall sayth that Since
the making of this Deponts. former Affidavits in this Cause &
not before & not till Yesterday the Thirty first day of August
last after notice of Tryal for this day was Served on the Defe [..]
he was informed that James Cadwallader< no role > menconed in this
Deponts. former Affidavits was come to Londn. And thereupon
this Depont. went to the house of Castle Thorpe at the Swan
& Swop Taverne in Cornhill Londn. to Enquire when the said
James Cadwallader< no role > came to Town And was informed by the said
Castle Thorpe< no role > That the said James Caswallader< no role > did not come
to Londn. till Sunday last being the Thirtyeth day of August
last And this Depont. Sayth That on Wednesday the
Nineteenth day of August last he Personally Served Mr.
Thomas Bridgwater< no role > with a Spa to give Evidence in this
Court on the behalf of the Defendt. in this Cause And this
Depont. Saith That the said Thomas Bridgwater attended
this Honble Court on Fryday the Twenty Eight And
on Saturday the Twenty ninth Days of August last in
Order to give Evidence in this Cause on the behalf of the
Defendt. and sayth that the said Thomas Bridgwater< no role >
did not Depart this Honble. Court till after the Tryal of the
said Defendt. was pull off till next Sessions And this Dept.
sayth that imediately after the said Tryal was putt off Vizt.
on Saturday last he this Depont. invited the said Thomas
Bridgwater to Dine with this Depont. & Severall other
wittnesses who then attended on the behalf of the
Defendt. But that the said Thomas Bridgwater then
Excused himself & said he was obliged to go out of
Town to Harlow Bush Fair in the County of Essex
that afternoon And this Depont. Sayth that yesterday
the Thirty first Day of August last and this morning he
went to the Lodgings of the said Thomas Bridgwater< no role >
at the house of Mr. Cabrier in Token house
yard London watchmaker to Enquire after the said
Thomas Bridgwater< no role > in Order to informe him of the
notice of Tryal in this Cause given for this day And
was there informed that the said Thomas Bridgwater< no role >
