Whereas Complaint hath been made unto us whose
hands and Seals are hereunto Set two of his Majesties
Justices of the peace for the City of London (Quox unus) by
the Church Wardens and Overseers of the poor of the parish
of Allhallows Staining
London That

aged four years and an half are lately come into the
Said Parish endeavouring to Settle there contrary to Law
and unless timely prevented are likely to become
Chargeable thereunto which we do adjudge to be true
And forasmuch as it appeareth unto us the said
Justices upon the Oath of the said

Served between two and three Years of his Apprenticeship

a Shoemaker
and then an Inhabitant
in the parish of St Magnus the Martyr London
to whom he was bound
and afterwards went to Sea And not other Legal Settlement
elswhere appearing unto us Since we do also adjudge the
Said parish of St Magnus the Martyr London to be the
Place of their last Legal Settlement.
These are therefore in his Majestys Name to Will and
require you the Church Wardens and Overseers of the poor
of the said Parish of Allhallows Staining
forthwith to
removed and convey the said Mary Russell< no role >
and Miles
Russell< no role >
her child from out of your said Parish unto the said
Parish of St Magnus the Martyr
London
And her deliver
unto the Church Wardens and Overseers of the poor there
Some or one of them who are hereby required to receive
and provide for them According to Law Given
under our hands and Seals this 17th day of August
