of Surry

Sheweth
That
Thomas Ward< no role >
with his three Children were by an Order
or Warrant under the hands & Seals of two of his Majties Justices
of the peace
for the City of London
bearing Date the Sixteenth day
of February 1720. removed from the Parish of St. Bottolph
without Bishopgate London
to the parish of St. Mary at
Rotherhith aforesaid as the place of their last legal Settlemt.
That Yor. Peticoners do humbly conceive that they
can Make it appear unto this Honourble. Court
that the place of the last Legal Settlement of the
Said Thomas Ward< no role >
and his three Children [..] is not
in the Said Parish of Rotherhith
Yor. Peticoners therefore do humbly appeal
agt. the Said Order and pray that this
Honble. Court will Order the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the poor of the Parish of
St. Bottolph without Bishopgate London
to Attend this Court to Shew cause why the
Said Order Should not be Vacated
And yor. Peticoners shall Ever Pray Etc.
