Whereas at the General Quarter Sessions of the peace held for
this City at the Guildhall thereof on Monday the 10th. day of July
last upon Reading the Severall peticons & Appeals of the Company
of Glovers London and of Mordeca Knight< no role > , Willm: Weeks< no role > Edward

Cripplegate London Complaining of the Unequality of the
Poors Rates made upon them And also their being Over
Charged in their personall Estates It was Ordered by that Court
That the further hearing the Severall Peticons & Appeals
Should be Adjourned till the next Sessions of the peace to be
held for the Said City And that the Said appellants in the
mean time Should have the Liberty to peruse the Severall
Books of the poors Rate and Land tax of the Said parish
wherein they Were Over rated and Charged as they Alledged
in their Peticons in the presence of the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the poor of the Said Parish And that the Said
Appellants Should Deliver to this Court a Particular Account
of the Names of Such persons as were Overated and assessed
as also of Such [..] who were Omitted to be rated and assessed being
of Ability and ought to pay towards the relief of the Said poor
And it was further Ordered that the said Matters then in Difference
between the Said Appellants and the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the poor of the Said parish in referrence to the
Severall Rates and Assessments Should remain & abide as them
they Stood without further Trouble to the Said Appellants till
the said Severall Appeals then depending Should be determined
by the next Court at the next Sessions of the peace as aforesaid
Now upon Motion this day made by the Sollicitor for the
Churchwardens and Overseers Complaining that the Account
of the Names of Such persons as are Overated Under rated
or Omitted to be rated had not been delivered to him whereby
he might prepare reasons to lay before this Court to Support
Such Rates or Assessments And praying that the farther
hearing of the said Several peticons and Appeals Should be
Adjourned till next Generall Quarter Sessions to be held in and
