The Examinacon of Edwd: Jones< no role > taken before meinthis day
(whose Name [..] ss here undr. Subscribed)twoone of his Majties
Justices of the Peace for the said County of Middx:

This Examinant Saith that on or abt. the 24s. day of Sept last past
he this Examt. was at the dwelling house of Richd. Blangwin< no role > at the
Signe of the Red Ox in the old Bayly being a Publik house where
this Examt. generally dyned, & being there as aforesd. in one of the
publick Room's of the Sd. house this Examt. was then & there informed
by Elizabeth < no role > the wife of the said Richd. Blangwin< no role > , that her said
husband was arrested, And in the Poultrey Compter at the Since
of one Cook, And that he her Sd. Husband was Appr. hensive of an
Execucon coming into the house to Seize the Goods. to prvent wch.
her sd. husband had Sent her an Ordr. (amongst other things)
Authorizing her to remove & carry away all the Goods Plate Etc.
and this Examt. further Saith that the sd. Elizabeth Blangwin< no role > was
then catting off some plate buttons from an old pair of Breeches
when She desired this Examt. to help her in cutting off the Same
for expedicons Sake; where upon this Examt. out of respect to
the sd. Richard Blangwin< no role > & his Sd. wife did cutt off Some of the
buttons without any designe of imbeazelling or converting the
Same to his own use, and when he had so done delivered the Same
into the hands of her the Said Elizabeth Blangwin, who hath
them now in her own possion for ought this Examt. knows to the
Contrary And as this Examt. verily believes; Dated this
Twenty first day of October in the Eighth year of the Reigne of
our Songue Lord George by the grace of God of great Britanie
France & Ireland King Defendr. of the Faith Etc.
