The Information or Confession of Thomas Key< no role > taken upon Oath
Decembr. the 13th: 1714 .

This Deponent Saith That on the Twenty Fourth day of Septembr: he this
Deponent Came to see John Clayton< no role > Lawrence Singleton< no role > & his case
and Robert Robbitt< no role > , And the same Right Claton Singleton & Robbitt went
to Mr. Ives Warehouse and Stole Severall peices of Wood some About a
Yard long same more & some less and on the Twenty Fifth day of the same
Month the aforesaid three went about Ten or Eleven a Clock att Night and
Stole divers pecies of the same like from the Sd: Mr: Ives, and the Sd. Deponent
knew that they were Stole And this Deponent Further saith that on the Twenty
ninth day of the Sd. Month the same three went to the Sd. Mr. Ives
Warehouse Againe and Stole Severall peices of Plank and Wood and A
plaine and Severall peices of Stuff as they Call in their Way of Workeing
the said Lawrence Singleton< no role > took an Ads and Splitt the Claine and threw
it upon the fire and Swore it should be burnt And Soe they went on Every
Night till Three Weeks after Michalemas all the abovenamed Persons
putt to a Vote whether the Sd. Plaine should be Curnt and According (at
this Deponent Saith it was Burn't by singleton for he would have it Soe.
