Complaint being this Day made unto us Two of Her Maties
Justies of the peace for third City & the Liberties thereof (Quor
unus) by you ye. Churchwardens & Overseers of Ye. poor of the
Parish of St. Martin Vintry London, That one Elizabeth Glen< no role >
Singlewoman is lately come into yor. said Parish not having
obtained any legall Settlement there, & is likely to become
Chargeable thereof unless timely prevented, and for as much as
it appeare unto us by the Oath of ye. said Elizabeth Glen That
four years ago and upwards, being then a Singlewoman
without Child, she the said Elizabeth Glen wad an hired yearly
Servant at ye. Wages of Three pounds P Ann with one Edward
Kempton
< no role > in ye. Parish of Burn in Cambridgeshire with whom she
dwell by ye. Spare of one whole year & upwards, & had not by
any means whatsoever obtained any other legall Settlement
Time, We do therefore adjudge ye. present legall Settlement
of ye. said Elizabeth Glen to be in ye said Parish of Burn in
Cambridgeshire aforesaid, and that thither to she ought by Law
to be sent

These are therefore in Her Maties Name to Require you ye. Churchwardens
and Overseers of ye Poor of ye. parish of St. Martin vintry London , forthwith
to remove & convey ye. sd. Elizabeth Glen< no role > from and out of your said Parish
to the parish of Burn in the Cambridgeshire and her leave with the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor there, or one of them, who are
hereby required to receive and provide for her according to Law. Hereof
faile not, and this shall be your Warrant, Given under our hands and
Seales the 28th. day of November Anno Dni 1713.
