one of her Majties Justices of ye Peace for the saidCityCounty this
the 16th. day of Aprill 1706

This Examinant upon this Oath saith that the Band one John
Whittington
< no role > did on or AboutFebruaryJanry was twelve month list
in the night time to the best of this Depts. remembrance gett over
the gate and from Home into the yard of Jno. Benson< no role > gents and with a Recorder Barr
did forte opent indg Iron Bare or the Kitchen condone and that
they did date divers peries of Plate perticulars a Coffee pott
Candlesticks and divers other things which she ye did afterwds
Sell toadmire a Broker in Holborne for the Same
of Eighteen pounds on thereaboutsand that this Dept did [..]
the money paid by ye sd. Da [..] ye sd. Whitting [..]

This Examinant farther deposeth that Sometime sence
he this Examinant and one Thomas Beffs< no role > and Francis
Stephens
< no role > did break open the House of the sd. Georges [..] our Covent
Garden and did luke divers peices of plate as secure places
St and that they did sell it to one [..] Whittle for 15 [..] s.
That at he and the sd. Stephens and Betts did afterwds. beene
a corner house near the garden in Covent garden and did
take Law all peices of plate which they did sell to sd. Whittle
Thattheyhe and Betts did break open an other house [..]
near Vewstreet and did take two Candlesticks and other
peices of plate which was Sold to ye. Sd. Whittle

That he and Betts did sometime last Turner break open
the Lady Cavendrike Land luke some Limen [..]
poors and Forwhiteplate they sold to the sd. Whittle
