London And the Rt. Worll the rest of her Maties. Justices of the Peace at
the Generall Quarter Sessions of the Peace Assembled.

The humble Peticon & Appeale of the Churchwardens &
Overseers of the Poore of the Parish of St. Clement Eastcheap
London

Sheweth
That by Virtue of a Warrant under the Hands & Seales of Twoe of her
Maties. Justices of the Peace wth.in this City one being of the Quor dated the 11th. day of
January instant One Sara Ashburnham< no role > widdow wth. Five children were
sent by the Churchwardens & Overseers of the Poore of the Parish of St. Michll.
in Crooked lane London to yor. Petrs. To be provided for upon her Oath
That her last legall Settlemt. was in yor. Petrs Parish were her late husband
Dwelt in a house of twenty pounds yearly rent & upwards for above twoe
yeares last past Whereas in truth the late husband of the said Sara
Ashburnham
< no role > Since he Dwell in yor. Petrs. Parish tooke a house in the
Said Parish of St. Michll. Crooked lane of about Eleaven pounds a yeare
were he lived wth. his Family about the Space of three weekes before
his Death

Yor. Petrs. humbly pray yor. Honor. & Worpps. to hear them
in the prmisses And to order the said Churchwardens &
Overseers of the Poore of the Parish of St. Michll. Crooked
lane to Appear here before you And to Send the said Sara
wth. her Five Children Back to the Parish of St. Michll Crooked
lane to be by them prvided for untill they can Free themselves
of the Charge thereof by Due course of Law

And yor Petrs Shall Ever Pray Etc.
