Whereas Complaint hath beene made unto [..] us
Two of his Maties. Justices of the Peace for the said
Citty (Quor unus) by the Church-Wardens & Overseers of
the poore of the parish of St. Anns Black Fryers London
That one Thomas Scott< no role > and Elizabeth< no role > -his wife are
come into their said parish endeavouring to settle there
without giveing Notice in writing to the said Church
Wardens & Overseeres of the poore or any of them as by
Law is required, and arelikelyto become chargeable thereunto,
And Whereas it appears unto us upon the Oath of the said
Thomas Scott< no role > that [..] his last legall Settlemt. was in the
libty of Saffron-hill in the parish of St. Andrews Holbourne
in the County of Middx where he was a housekeeper, [..]
about Nine years Since, and paid all Parish duties,
and that since he hath had noe other legall settlemt.
whatsoever.

These are therefore in his Maties. name strictly to
charge & Command you, or some or one of you the Church
Wardens and Overseers of the Poore of the said parish of
St. Anns Black Fryers London upon sight hereof To remove
and Convey the bodies of the said Thomas Scott< no role > & Elizabeth
his wife out of yor. said Parish unto the sd Libty of Saffron
hill in the Parish of St. Andrews Holbourne in the County of
Middx, and them deliver unto the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the poore there, or to some or one of them who
are hereby required them to receive and pvide for (as
Occasion shall require) untill they shall be of them
discharged by due Course of Lawe; and for soe doeing this
shall be yor. Warrt. Given under [..] our hands and Seales
this 27th. day of November Ao. Dm 1699 o.
