Saith that about a month since she received a letter from
MrsShawThornton yt a Pcell of Silks were to be sold And
this Exainant went ye said Mrs Thorntons house who
sent to ye said Mrs Harland wth in menconed And ye said
Mr Harland brought a Pcell of Silke to ye said Mrs Thorntons
house And this Examinate asked ye Sd Mrs Thornton if they
were honestly come by who said she believed they were And
ye said Mrs Harlandsaid& this Examinate agreed upon a
price for ye Silks at 3s P yard And ye said Harland & Thornton
went wth the said goods wth this Exaiate to this Exaiate house in
Hounsditch And ye sd goods amounting to £36 at ye rate
agreed on this Exarate supposing yt if they were wrong fully
come by it would appear in a little time Pcured her husband to give
a bill for £16 of ye sd money & pay £20 residue to ye said Mrs
Harland And great part [..] of ye said goods yt remained unsold by
this examinate wereuponclaymed by Henry Raper< no role > goods
stollen from him & his Ptner & were thereupon delivered to him

The exaicon of Sarah Thornton< no role > aforemenconed
Saith yt Mary Harland< no role > afore named acquanting her that she
had a Pcell of Silks to sell sent a letter to ye aforesd Mrs Shaw
wth Patterns of ye Silks who thereupon came to this Examints house
& this Exaiate sent to ye said Harland who [..]
ye said Silks to this Exaiate's house And agreed wth the said Mrs
Shaw for ye sale of them at 3s P yard And this Exaiate
went wth ye sd Harland & Shaw to ye sd Shaw's shop & ye
Price of ye sd Silks came to 36th whereof 20th was paid in hand
& a bill for £16 And this Exainate being of assit if ye sd goods were
honestly come by said she knew nothing to ye contrary
