me Sr . Thomas Stampe< no role > Knt . Lord Major of ye City of
London and one of their Maties Justices of the
peace of ye said City.

Who Sayth that he lodgeth att ye Sign of ye Jockey in
Cow lane a Victualling house& thatand sayth that he came home to his said
lodging about 8 of ye Clock last night &
was in bed before ten of ye Clock & arose
this morning between Eight and Nine and Sayth
that about 12 of ye Clocktheatt noon this
day being att his Said lodging the did see
one Walter and whose Sirname he knows not
and some others playing att dinebut& that
he did not know any of ye said Company
besides ye said Walter, but had oure seen one
Richard Starr< no role > who was in Ye said Company
and sayth that when he came into their
Company he had but one shillingin
heabout him, and that of Richard Starr< no role >
he did win att play upon dine fourteen or
fifteene shillings and of ye rest of ye
Company Eleaven shillings or thereabouts
