The Inform of Wm Elborough< no role > Watchman taken ye [..] One & Twentieth day of
May Ao Din 1692 touching ye Death of John Hoyle< no role > Esqr .
decd sworne & exaid

Saith that hee this Informt. Standing at his Stand on ye Watch at
Chancery Lane end on ye twenty Seaventh day of May instant between
the houres of One & two of ye Clocke in ye morning heard ayeNoise as
of ye Fall of a Man wch the guessed to be neare ye Temple Gate & this
Informt. making what hast he could to ye Sd. Gate there Some ye. decd. Jon.
Hoyle< no role > lyeing on ye Ground wth his [..] Rack downwards [..] his Sword in his
stabbed & this Informt. sayth that before ye sd, Fall hee heard neither any
would nor any clasting of Swords or Stickes
