The Informations of Engelbert Wagemans< no role >
William Shade< no role > and John Hughes< no role > taken upon
Oath the 3d. Day of November 1789

Who upon their several Oaths say and first the sd.
Engebert Wagemans< no role > saith that he keeps the Golden Hart in
Parkers Street Drury Lane that on Monday the second Day
of November Instant betwixt the Hours of 10 & 11 oClock in the
Evening whilst he was putting up the Window Shutters of his
House the Prisoner Frances Lee< no role > went into the Barr opened a
sliding Drawer & took out a wooden Bowl which contained
upwards of seven Shillings in Half pence (three of which
Half pence he the sd. Engelbert Wegeman< no role > 's particularly Knows
& ran swear to) and immediately went away

William Shade< no role > for himself saith that he sometimes is
employed by Engelbert Wagemans< no role > to draw Beer that he [..]
attended for that purpose on Monday the 2d. Day of November
Instant that betwixt 10 & 11 oClock in the Evening Whilst
Engelbert Wageman< no role > 's was putting up the Window Shutters of
his House the Prisoner Frances Lee< no role > opened his Masters Barr
Door went therein opened a sliding Drawer & took out a
wooden Bowl containing a Quantity of Half pence and
immediately afterwards went away

John Hughes< no role > for himself saith that he is one of the
Patroles belonging to the Parish of St. Giles that being
upon his Duty on Monday Night betwixt 10 & 11 oClock he
met Engelbert Wagemans< no role > at the Corner of Parkers Street
who told him he wanted to see on Frances Lee< no role > meaning
the Prisoner for she has robbed my Barr of a Bowl of
Half pence that the sd. Engelbert Wagemans< no role > & he went to
her Lodgings and found her coming out upon which he
