Wapping in the said County Manner taken this 28th. November 1789 before me

Esquire One of his Majestys Justices of the Peace in and for the said County Who
being on his Oath saith that on Tuesday the twenty fourth day of November Instant
between the Houses of ten and eleven oClock at Night the person present who say her
name is
Isabella Rowles< no role >
asked his into her Apartment in Cable Street
to treat her
which he did and found there the other person present who says her Name is Ann
Maddan when he pulled out of his Pocket a Quantity of Money to loof for Six
pence to treat them further saith the said

Knocked the Money out
of his hand upon the floor and she and the said Ann Maddan picked up Several
Guineas Says he is Certain he had fourteen Guineas and a half when he went into the
said Room And found upon the floor five Guineas and one half Guinea further Saith
the said

Made her Escape out the Window and the said Ann
Maddan run out at the Door and made her Escape and is Certain he last Nine
Guineas in the said Room and that the said

are the persons that Robbed him as aforesaid
