Street Portland Place Linnen Draper and Hosier , And
Charles Jellons of Bow Street Covent Garden
taken on Oath before me this 17th. day of December
1789.

Who being on Oath Severally Say, and first the said
John Heath< no role > for himself says that this morning between Eight
and Nine oClock he saw the Person now present who calls
himself Matthias Corbett< no role > (and who is Informant Apprentice)
take from out of a Parcel in his Shop a pair of White Cotton Stockings And
that the Stockings now produced by the said Charles Jellous< no role >
are this Informant Property and are the same he saw said
Matthias Corbett< no role > take out of the bundle as aforesaid And
the said Charles Jellous< no role > for himself says that the Pair of
Stockings now produced by him he found in the Coat Pocket
of the said Matthias Corbett< no role >
