The Information of William Porter< no role > taken
on Oath the Eleventh day of December 1789 before
me one of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace for
the County of Middlesex

Who Saith that on Monday night the Seventh December
Instant between Eleven and Twelve o'Clock he was going
[..] home to Essex Street White Chapel in Company [..]
Samuel Baston and at the Corner of Bell Lane
Wentworth Street he saw five men on the opposite [..]
the way two of whom came up to this Informant and
without saying a word to him Knocked him down with
a Stick and left him and went up to Samuel Baston
who was with him, and the other man who Crossed the
way with the first man to this Informant then draw a
Stick from under his Coat and gave him several blows
about his Shoulders and body and he then left him
and he saw them Strike the said Samuel Baston< no role > who
was with him and then they run away And Saith
That Lyon Hart< no role > and Andrew Hick< no role > now in Custody
are two of the above Person who were in Company
together and beat him and the said Samuel Baston< no role >
told this Informant he was Robbed of two [..]
