as deposed to above the Prisoner George Dawson< no role > came out of the Garrett
on the Stairs when on seeing the Officers he returned into the Garrett
shutting the Door after him. and on Informants entring the Garrett
with the other Informant Stephen Reynold< no role > he found said George Dawson< no role >
standing by the fire with a pair of Tongs in his hand with which he
struck Informant who then seized him when a scuffle ensued between
them and the Prisoner on breaking from this Informant threw himself
on his knees on the Floor where there was placed a pair of Flasks
which he disturbed as deposed to above, that after securing the said George
Dawson< no role > Informant examined the Garrett and on the Floor near where
the Flasks were placed this Informant found a quantity of Counterfeit
Shillings and Sixpences which appear to have been in Circulation
and an all or most of them cut and which this Informant now producers
