The Examination of Abram Knee< no role > & John Gardner< no role > take before
me this 17 Day of July 1789

Fint Abram Knee says that this
afternoon about Six OClock he received of [..] Legg at the Snow
Shoes Tews Row Chelsea Two Guineas that he put them with
two Six pences 2 a Counter price an Imitation of His present
Majesty Die of a half Guinea wth. three Half pence wrapt in a Nett into his Right hand Job pocket< no role > that the
person now present that calls herself Sarah Miles< no role > was Standing
near the Barr at sd House the time this Infort received the sd Two Gui-
neas that this Infort calld a hackney Coach that sd Sarah
Miles< no role > and this Infort where he was going who answerd Charing
Cross that she askd to go with him to which he afrented that sd
Sarah Miles< no role > and a Woman (not Known) that was with her
got into the Coach that they all went to the Bunn House Stopt & had Six penny
worth of Bunns that this Infort took Six pence from the
sd Natt out of is Tob & paid for the sd Bunns that they drove
to Westminster to a publick house to the Bulls head prin-
ces Street had some pepper mint Water that this informant
took out the other Six pence & paid for it that in Going to
Charing Cross this Infort caught the Hard of the said Sa-
rah Miles in his Right hand Tob Pockett and soon
found he was Robbed at the said Two Guineas & sd Counter
& found the said nett had been drawn nearly out of His Pockett That
the Counter now produc'd is the same Counter this Infort.
had in his pockett when he was Robbd & which he receivd
in Spain about three Months ago.
