The Information of James Dowd< no role > of George Alley Fleet
Market in the City of London Labourer
taken on Oath before us two of His Majesty's
Justices of the Peace in and for the said
County the 15th day of August 1789

First the said James Dowd< no role > on his Oath saith that
between two and three o'Clock in the Morning [..]
Sunday last he went from the House of William
Tanner
< no role > in Catherine Wheel Alley White Chapel
into Wentworth Street to get a Pot of Beer
but finding no person up he returned towards
Catherine Wheel Alley and in his Way there
he [..] saw the prisoners now present who say
then Names are Camel Delap Steward< no role > and
Mary Peters< no role > in Company with another
Woman who escaped That Mary Peters< no role >
laid hold of him by the Street of his Coat Saith that
he asked her what she did that for
upon which she called to Camel Delap
Steward
< no role > who was lying at a Door who
immediately got up and began to Cut
him with a Knife Peters crying out to him
at the same time to kill him the other
Woman cryed out Murder & desired [..] the Prisoner
not to kill him and laid hold of his
Ann upon which this Informant got away
